The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut
The rising star boasts substantial online following
The young golfer can count on multiple well-known backers as she makes her LPGA debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, obtained a special exemption to participate at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses several courses worldwide and often competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play competitive games," she mentioned.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"He essentially told me to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions this year and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA listings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.
"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, relax, and go with whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of top competitors in women's golf at the competition, featuring world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to wider groups, particularly with younger fans.
Kai has substantial online presence and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle brand.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
